I saw a similar game with more players, is that the original?

There are copycat games that use fake creation dates, AI-generated thumbnails, and stolen assets to appear legitimate. Gameplay Questions

How do I survive each night?

To survive: 1) Listen to the phone guy for rules, 2) Follow rules exactly, 3) Serve customers correctly, 4) Fix lights when they go out, 5) Don't look up at ceiling shadows, 6) Close your eyes when lights flicker and ghosts appear, 7) Remember customer patterns. Read our Survival Guide for detailed strategies.

What are the different nights?

Night 1: Tutorial night - learn the basics. Night 2: More encounters and rules. Night 3: Complex patterns and multiple threats. Endless Mode: Survive as long as you can with continuous customers. Check our Complete Walkthrough for step-by-step instructions for each night.

What is the purple ingredient?

It's Pickles! Many players mistake it for beetroot (remolacha) or red onions due to its dark purple color in the game. If a customer asks for pickles, use the purple ingredient bin. See our Game Mechanics guide for more ingredient tips.

What happens at the end of the game?

After beating Night 3, you receive a final phone call revealing that you are an 'Object' in an experiment and there is 'no exit'. This implies the Endless Mode is the canonical continuation. Check our Ending Explained wiki article for the full transcript and analysis.

What happens if I die?

If you die, you can use a revive to continue. Get revives by: redeeming codes, joining the developer's Roblox group (free revive), purchasing the Infinite Revives gamepass, or using the phone save feature (one-time per run). Learn more about the Phone System & Secrets.

How do I use the phone save system?

The phone save is a one-time save feature per run. Call the special number the phone guy mentions - he'll ask if you really want to save. Call a second time to confirm and save your current progress. When you die, click 'Revive' to continue from where you saved. Note: This save only lasts for one run and replaces the revive function. See our Phone System Secrets for all phone numbers.

How do I load my saved game?

To load a save, you must call the save number again on the second night. Be careful: players report that you can only load a save file once. If it doesn't work, ensure you are calling the correct number and that you haven't already used the load function for that run.

I'm stuck on Night 2 with no customers and number 0-304, is this a bug?

This is a known issue/event state reported by the community. If you receive the number '0-304' and instructions to 'hide in the table', but no customers appear for a long time (10+ minutes), it may be a bugged state. Try restarting the run. The '0-304' number itself is part of the game's lore/events, but the game should not soft-lock indefinitely.

Does reviving in endless mode reset my customer count?

No, using a revive in endless mode does not reset your customer count. Your progress is preserved, which is important for competing on the leaderboard and tracking your personal best.

Why does it show zero customers in endless mode?

The '0 customers' display actually shows how many customers you have survived in endless mode. It's a counter that tracks your survival progress, not an error. The number increases as you successfully serve more customers.

How do the game passes work?

Game passes provide advantages: Infinite Revives (149 Robux) - unlimited free revives, Extra Speed (99 Robux) - faster movement, Show Corrupted Order (149 Robux) - reveals special customer orders, Larger Lobby (169 Robux) - create lobbies with up to 6 people. Check our Game Passes page for full details and our Game Passes Explained guide for buying advice.

Can I take photos to remember sibling orders?

Yes! Taking screenshots or photos of the first sibling's order is a smart strategy that many players use. When the second sibling arrives, the marker board won't work, so having a photo reference helps you replicate the exact order from memory. This is especially helpful in multiplayer when coordinating with teammates.

Do I need to give Bloxy Cola to every customer?

No! Only give Bloxy Cola to customers who specifically order it. The 'strange person' mentioned by the phone guy on Night 1 is the one who definitely needs Bloxy Cola - giving it to him prevents bad things from happening. Not every customer requires a drink, so always check their order carefully before serving.

What is the Russian text in the game? I don't understand it!

The game contains Russian text as part of its atmosphere (the developer's inspiration came from a Russian TikTok creator @lost_archive5). Don't worry - you don't need to understand Russian to play! The important information is shown through icons and order displays. The Russian dialogue is mainly for immersion and mystery. Focus on the visual order icons rather than the text.

Why doesn't 911 work when I try to call it?

911 is not a valid number in Road-Side Shawarma! The correct emergency number depends on the situation: Call 1347 to reach Phone Guy for tips, Call 1304 to save your progress (one-time per run), Call 1987 for the 'Call of Eighty Seven' badge easter egg. The poster in the kitchen shows additional numbers for specific emergencies like Trash Bag Man. See our Phone System Secrets guide for all phone numbers.

Can I throw food to customers instead of walking over?

Yes! You can throw completed shawarmas to customers at the service window. This is especially useful in multiplayer - have one person prepare food while another throws it. To throw: stand near the service window, aim at the customer, and release. This 'you make it, I throw it' strategy significantly speeds up service during busy periods.

Why can't I open the back door sometimes?

The back door may be locked during certain events or when specific rules are in effect. If you can't open it, it usually means a special event is occurring or about to happen. Pay attention to the phone guy's instructions at the start of each night - he'll tell you when and why you need to go outside to fix the fuse box.

How can I serve customers faster in multiplayer?

Assign specific roles to team members! Have one person handle all drinks (Bloxy Cola, iced coffee), one person prep ingredients (chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, fries), and one person wrap and deliver orders. Pre-make common orders during quiet moments. Clear communication is key - call out orders loudly so everyone knows what to prepare.

What's that white figure I saw outside?

The white figure that appears outside during certain nights is one of the game's atmospheric encounters. If you see it while going to fix the fuse box, stay calm - it's intentionally placed to create tension. Focus on fixing the lights quickly and return inside. It won't harm you if you follow the night's rules and complete your task efficiently.

Is the game scarier when playing alone or with friends?

Most players report that the game is much scarier when playing alone. With friends, the horror becomes more comedic and manageable through team coordination and shared reactions. Playing solo makes the atmosphere more intense, the jumpscares more effective, and the tension much higher. The choice depends on whether you want a genuine horror experience or a fun social gameplay session.

Is this game really that scary?

It depends on your experience level and play style! Community feedback shows: First-time players find it genuinely frightening with effective jumpscares and tension. However, the game becomes much less scary after you beat it once and know what to expect. Playing with friends makes it more fun and comedic instead of horror. Many veteran players report it's 'not that scary' after mastering the mechanics. The anticipation and atmosphere are often scarier than the actual monsters. Tip: If you're easily scared, play during daytime with friends for your first attempt!

Do I really need a guide? Can't I just listen to the Phone Guy?

Technically, no guide is required! The Phone Guy tells you everything you need to survive at the start of each night. However, many players benefit from guides because: The Phone Guy gives a lot of information quickly (easy to miss details), visual guides help you see what to do (not just hear it), guides are useful if you missed instructions, they help double-check your understanding, and they're helpful for specific challenges like sibling orders or phone numbers. Best approach: Listen carefully to Phone Guy first, use guides as backup if needed.

Can I play this game with friends?

Yes! Road-Side Shawarma fully supports multiplayer. You can create lobbies to play with friends, join public servers with up to 32 players, and use voice chat for better coordination. Standard lobby supports 3 players, while the Larger Lobby gamepass (169 Robux) allows up to 6 players. Playing with friends is highly recommended for first-time players who want a less scary experience, learning the game mechanics together, having fun with teamwork and chaos, and speedrunning or badge hunting. Many community members report having 'so much fun' playing with friends!

What happens if I accidentally open my eyes too early?

Opening your eyes while hiding under the table before the lights come back on results in instant death. You'll see a jumpscare of the creature and have to restart from your last save point. This is one of the most common ways to die on Night 3 according to the community. Tips to avoid: Hold space bar firmly until you're CERTAIN lights are back, count to 10 after you think it's safe, in multiplayer have someone count down, be patient (better to wait too long than die), and don't release the key out of curiosity!

What happens if I look up when something is dripping?

Looking up when you see black raindrops/dripping from the ceiling causes instant death with a jumpscare on Night 3. The Phone Guy explicitly warns 'DO NOT look up.' Why players struggle: Natural human curiosity makes it hard to resist, instinct is to look at the source of sounds/dripping, and many players die at least once out of curiosity. Community advice: 'My curiosity will kill me' is a common sentiment. If you must see the monster, do it on a run you're willing to sacrifice! Otherwise, keep looking down and continue working until the dripping stops.

Can I beat this game on the first try?

It's possible but uncommon! Based on community feedback: Night 1 - about 60% beat it first try (tutorial night), Night 2 - only 20% beat it first try (complex mechanics), Night 3 - only 5% beat it first try (requires mastery), All three nights in one sitting - very rare for first-timers. Most players die multiple times while learning. Average attempts needed: 2-3 for Night 1, 5-10 for Night 2, 10+ for Night 3. This is completely normal! The game is designed to be challenging, and each death teaches you something.

How do I get the Call of Eighty Seven badge?

On Night 2, use the phone to call the number '1987'. This will unlock the 'Call of Eighty Seven' badge, which is a reference to the famous 'Bite of 87' meme from Five Nights at Freddy's. It's currently one of the rarest badges in the game with 0.0% unlock rate, making it a great achievement for badge hunters! Note: This is an easter egg badge and doesn't affect gameplay, but it's a fun secret to discover. See all Badges and our Badges Guide for more achievements.
