In Road-Side Shawarma, you've just taken a job at a shawarma stand on a lonely road, and you're working the night shift. Your job is to prepare and hand off food and drinks to your hungry customers, while following specific rules. What are the rules? They change every night. What happens if you break them? You don't want to find out!

The Shawarma-Making Process:

1. Customer Arrival: A customer will appear at the window at the front of the stand
2. Check Order: Their order will appear on the board to the left of the window
3. Get Wrap: Collect a lavash wrap from the pile next to the stove, and place it on the work station next to the ingredient boxes
4. Add Meat: Go to the meat trompo and collect some from the bottom (all shawarma have chicken in). Carry it to the wrap
5. Add Ingredients: If other ingredients are needed, get them from the ingredients station and place them like you did the chicken
6. Wrap It: Once you have the right ingredients, hit E to wrap the shawarma
7. Serve: Pick up the food and take it over to the window to hand to your customer
8. Drinks: To get drinks, open the refrigerator to the left of the front window and take them from the box
9. Restock: If any ingredients run out, you can get them from the store room

Important: Each shift, your supervisor will call you and give you the rules for the day. They will change, so listen carefully!

Night One is pretty straightforward. Fulfill your orders and refill ingredients if they run low. This is your tutorial night to get comfortable with the shawarma-making process.

Key Event - The Stranger:

At some point, a man with a weird, melted-looking face will show up at your window, and there will be no order on the board. This is the stranger mentioned in the rules. Don't try to make him shawarma - simply give him a Bloxy Cola from the refrigerator.

Power Outages:

If the lights go out, immediately go outside to the back of the building. You'll find a fuse box. Interact with it to restore power. Don't stay in the dark!

Tips for Night One:

Changes from Night One:

On Night Two, complexity increases slightly. Tomato is added to the ingredients list. You'll also need to watch out for the meat trompo acting strange. Power outages can still happen, so be ready to fix the fuse box again.

The Meat Trompo Warning:

If you see the meat start moving and groaning unnaturally, immediately leave the building and go outside. Wait there until the lights come back on. Don't try to interact with it!

The Poster:

At some point during the night, a spirit will appear at your window and hand you a poster. This poster shows:

Pick up the poster and it will appear next to the phone on the wall.

When He Appears:

The trash bag man will show up at your window later in the night. You'll know it's him because he'll make a remark about the trash bag.

What to Do:
1. Don't fulfill his order
2. Go to the phone on the wall
3. Call the number from the poster
4. The situation will be handled

This is a crucial test - giving him food will result in failure!

Identifying the First Sibling:

You'll know the first sibling when you see them - they have one of those weird distorted faces like the stranger from Night One.

How to Handle Them:

1. First Sibling Arrives: Check their order on the board
2. Remember the Order: Make a mental note or write it down
3. Serve First Sibling: Complete their order normally
4. Second Sibling Appears: They will arrive shortly after
5. Give Same Order: Make the exact same shawarma you gave to the first sibling
6. Serve Second Sibling: Hand it over and you're done

Important: The second sibling's order board might show something different, but you must give them the same order as the first sibling. This is the rule!

Night Three significantly increases complexity:

General Strategy:

The core concept remains the same: fulfill orders and restock ingredients from the store room. However, you'll need to be much more organized and efficient.

New Light Mechanic:

As the rules state, if the lights go out this time, DO NOT go to the fuse box outside. Instead:

1. Go to the central table in the middle of the room
2. Interact with it to hide underneath
3. Hold Spacebar to keep your eyes closed
4. Wait until you hear the power flip back on
5. Only then can you come out and resume work

Going outside during a Night Three power outage will result in death!

The Ceiling Shadow:

If you see black drips falling down your screen (it looks like liquid dripping from above), this is a critical warning:

This is one of the most dangerous moments in the game. Stay calm, keep your eyes forward, and the danger will pass.

Appearance:

At some point during Night Three, a figure in a hooded robe wearing an animal mask will appear at your window. They will ask for 'Meat'.

How to Serve Them:

1. Make a shawarma with only chicken on it (no other ingredients)
2. Do not add vegetables, sauces, or anything else
3. Just lavash wrap + chicken meat
4. Hand it over to them

What Happens:

The hooded figure will accept the food, give you a cryptic warning, and then leave. You've successfully handled this encounter.

Important: Don't try to give them a drink or a complex shawarma. They specifically want just meat.

Appearance:

At some point in Night Three, a woman with her eyes covered in bandages, using crutches, will appear. She'll say she wants to try normal food for the first time.

How to Serve Her:

1. Make a shawarma with everything on it
2. Include all available ingredients:
- Chicken meat
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Lettuce
- Any other vegetables available
- Sauces
3. Make it the most complete shawarma possible
4. Hand it over to her

What Happens:

She'll be very grateful for the complete meal experience. This is actually one of the more wholesome moments in the game - a brief respite from the horror.

Tip: This is a good opportunity to practice making complex orders, as you'll need that skill for later customers.

Shift Complete:

Eventually, after serving enough customers on Night Three, your shift should end. The phone will ring. Pick it up.

Your Supervisor's Call:

Your supervisor congratulates you on completing three days. You've officially completed Road-Side Shawarma's main story!

...but there's a catch. Of course there's a catch.

The Truth Revealed:

You might have noticed throughout your shifts - there's no exit door. You're trapped in the shawarma stand. The job posting wasn't entirely honest about the "permanent" nature of this position.

What This Means:

You've beaten the main three nights, but the game isn't quite over. The true nature of the shawarma stand is revealed, and you're left to contemplate your situation.

Endless Mode:

After completing the main three nights, you unlock Endless Mode. This mode challenges you to survive as long as possible, serving an endless stream of customers while dealing with all the horror mechanics you've learned.
